Elyse Glickman’s Writing Portfolio: Explore My Diverse Expertise

This website showcases my regularly updated writing portfolio, credentials, and an archive of my most significant projects published between 2002 and 2016. The main portfolio encompasses print and online journalism, web content, marketing/PR content, editing, publishing, and social media. Fields of expertise include hospitality/travel, food & beverage, wellness, sustainability, and related areas such as fashion, beauty, and interior design. This past experience translates to new content perfectly tailored for every publication, project, and purpose.

How this site “works”:

Published articles and projects are organized into “Consumer” and “Trade Journal” categories and then broken down by publication names or genres. One-off and limited-run projects are assembled in the “Miscellaneous” section. To access individual articles, click on the thumbnail pictures or links to PDFs and websites.

I recently dabbled in writing a television series treatment class for fun! If you liked “Daisy Jones & the Six,” you may enjoy my spin-off concept, “Ladies of the Canyon.” Picking up where the original story leaves off in 1998, filmmaker/photographer Julia Dunne learns her documentary about DJATS (her father’s old band) is getting picked up for broadcast by a major cable channel akin to VH1. Simone Jackson and Bernie return to L.A. to open a second “Haven” club in West Hollywood. They enlist Julia and her friends–an entertainment lawyer, a computer-savvy publicist, and Simone’s recording engineer niece–to help promote it. Click the linked title above to learn more.
